Feeling blue... You're not alone.

Depression is common locally and across the country. You or someone you love is likely to experience depressive symptoms at some point in your life.

The Feeling Blue website was developed to provide resources related to depression, and to change how we think and talk about depression. It offers the reminder that “you’re not alone” and opens the door for conversation and support.

The 2018 Community Health Needs Assessment revealed that 25% of regional adults have been diagnosed with depression, and it is suspected that there are many more who suffer but have not been diagnosed. Often individuals struggling with depression are hesitant to seek help or tell others, which only makes symptoms worse.

The purpose of Feeling Blue is to increase the understanding of depression, share information on how to manage the symptoms of depression and provide additional resources for individuals to help themselves and others who may be experiencing depressive symptoms.

Please share this link with others who might benefit from the message. Thank you in advance for sharing information about the campaign!
