Diabetes Coalition of York County:  The Diabetes Coalition of York County's mission is to empower those at-risk for and living with diabetes, through education and raising awareness to decrease the rate of diabetes in York County and improve the lifestyles of those we serve.

Safe Kids York County:  Safe Kids York County, a coalition of public, private, and voluntary organizations, identifies and prevents childhood injuries through education, networking and advocacy. The coalition supports the major risk themes of Safe Kids Worldwide as applicable to local childhood injury needs.

Tobacco-Free York County: Clearing the Air for Better Health
Tobacco-Free York County protects the public health of York County by partnering with community members to advocate, promoting and educating on the benefits and resources to achieve tobacco-free living.

York Adams Immunization Coalition: mission is to coordinate immunization activities and services to promote public awareness and educate providers about the timely and effective immunization of residents in York and Adams counties across the lifespan.

York County Falls Free Coalition
The Falls Free Coalition of York County is an active organization with a mission of partnering with the community to increase fall prevention awareness for York County older adults to decrease the number of falls and help older adults to live longer in the place they call home.

  • Involve local individuals, organizations and businesses in building a sustainable local food system that promotes the health of individuals, communities and the natural environment
  • Gather and share information about how York County’s food system works
  • Develop programs that address gaps in the county’s food system
  • Advocate for and advise on food system and food policy implementation

York Opioid Collaborative: To form a partnership of community, medical and government agencies dedicated to reducing the abuse of heroin in our communities; to educating our citizens of the prevalence of the heroin problem, the signs and symptoms of addiction, and the resources available; to reducing drug related deaths and crime in our communities, through public education, advocacy, media, law enforcement and legislation.
