BSCPA Bike Summit Coming to Downtown York

Bicycle South Central PA (BSCPA)’s 3rd Annual Regional Bike Summit, Making Connections, is scheduled for March 23 and 24 and will be held in Downtown York, PA. The Summit is for anyone interested in making cycling safer and more common in South Central Pennsylvania and will include:

  • Municipal planners
  • Tourism promoters
  • Health advocates
  • On and off-road riders
  • Bike club members
  • Bike shop representatives
  • Bicycle advocates

The BSCPA Summit will bring together people involved in all aspects of planning and bicycling in order to explore ways all can work together to make bicycling safer and more popular. Topics include learning about how to make small changes that produce big results, planning educational programs designed to teach both bike riders and drivers how to safely coexist on the roads, hearing about funding sources for bicycle infrastructure and trails and more. There will also be updates on the progress of the PA Interscholastic Mountain Bike League, changes in the routing of Bike Route J and new trails planned to connect with existing trails.
